Happy Independence Day!!

I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy July 4th!!! I hope each of you have a wonderful day with family and friends. I was planning to join the celebration in Matewan today, but it's raining so I think I'll stay in and work. What's the saying? No rest for the wicked? LOL

Some would agree with that statement. Ha Ha. But work gets you where you're going so I don't mind. I have a very busy week after today with meetings each day, including a big one in TN on Saturday, so I'm looking forward to staying indoors today. I hope you all eat as many hot dogs and hamburgers as your tummies can hold and treasure each moment with your families.

A golden nugget before I go. Take time today to give a word of encouragement, a smile, a small act of kindness. Pay it forward for someone at the store or a restaurant, even a gas station. You are blessed, so bless someone else. I promise, it comes back to you in the form of a smile or a hug. There's nothing like making others happy and making them smile. You never know when your kind words or acts are making a difference.
