Lazy Day

Today was the laziest day I've had in forever!! I did absolutely NOTHING. Ha Ha. I mean nothing. No script work, no business calls, no communication of any kind. I talked to my friends Louise and Joyce and that's all. Not really any Facebook either.
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with family. Now back to the real world of working tomorrow. That's the only part of being off a day that's bad, having to catch up on all you've neglected. But it's all good. I love working.
I'll be doing a video tomorrow and posting it here with my blog. I'll go over the details of the Pigeon Forge, TN trip giveaway and how to enter. That's coming up quickly. You guys get ready for that contest, it's a great one. Then I'll cover a little bit of the trip to NYC that will be given away in late November. I'm super excited about that one as well!!
Now that I have a collaberator on the script/screenplay (he's a Godsend) I can put my energy back into writing the next book in the Ultimate Betrayal series: The Alexanders: Rise To Glory, Fall From Grace. That promises to be a brow raiser as well, LOL. I think it will a hard book to write, I've only gotten half a chapter done so far. It will span more than 50 years in their lives, and will probably be broken down into three books when it's all said and done. I was told to keep writing them and they'll keep making movies about it all. They are fascinated by John, Emily and Mary. They love those characters. But then again, so do I. They are my babies, my work. I feel very protective of all three of them and I try to do them justice when wrting for them. They are all distinct. Each having flaws, weaknesses, and strong points as well. I'm so glad that others have fallen in love with them and my writing. It means so much when people tell me that I have a gift. I got the sweetest email from a journalist who reads my blog, telling me that my words are touching, revealing and provactive. He said the sweetest things to me in that email. Thank you Mr. _____. LOL. I won't say your name, but you know who you are and your kinds words made me blush. That's what a writer wants to hear, that their words really touch people, touch their hearts.
So I guess I'll end with an early goodnight. I love you all!!
Remember to work hard and Dream Big!!
Much love,
Christy
