On The Go Again

Hey guys, I had planned to do a video blog tonight wtih details on the Pigeon Forge, TN giveaway that's coming up. But I had two last minute meetings to take care of and some interesting news on the movie front.

I'll definitely let you all know in the next few days all about the trip contest, complete with all the rules and details on how to enter and when the contest starts. So look for that. Tomorrow I have to be in Charleston for the biggest part of the afternoon and I usually don't get home until midnight so I may not blog then. I'll try to have all of it ready to announce this weekend. I have meetings on Friday and out of town in TN on Saturday. Shew, I stay on the go. It's worth it though. Tomorrow night, I'm having a little get together for Jon, the director in Charleston, complete with coverage by Mr. Ron Gregory of the Herald Dispatch, so watch for that story in the next few days. It's going to be a fun evening thanking Jon for all he's done with this class.

Now on the movie front, we are all in agreement that this project, Ultimate Betrayal will work better as a series on HBO instead of a feature film. After much consideration and talking to those in the know, I agree with them that the story spans such a large amount of time, that if it were cut to two hours, we would lose a great deal of content and the story itself wouldn't make much sense. So I'm in agreement that it's better on HBO (not to mention, it's more money for me, LOL). I'm so happy that things are rolling as quickly as they are with the whole thing, and I'm looking forward to getting out to my new place in Burbank and settling in. Life is great and it's taking me places that I've only imagined but never really thought I'd go. Who would have ever thought when most of the town turned it's back on me, I'd end up living in Los Angeles making movies with the stars. Not me, that's for sure. But I'm glad my life has taken this turn. I got some really good news on the casting front today, that I can't share right now. But trust me, it's fantastic. I love the actor they are going to go after for John.
