Scary Day

If any of you guys want in my will, you'd better line up now. LOL. Life almost took me out this afternoon on my way to Charleston. The rain was coming down in torrents. Copious amounts were streaming across the four lane as traffic rolled on at a steady pace. To keep from being ran over, I raised my speed slightly, knowing full well, my tires are NOT the best. I felt my wheels jerk a couple of times, but thought I could handle it. At one point on the highway, there seemed to be a fair amount of deep (not real deep, but deep enough) running water going across. My tires hit it and off I went, sailing to the shoulder of the road. My car hydroplaned. I came to rest on the side next to the guard railing. I'm okay, just shaken up. And my poor little red baby has been through more accidents in her first year and a half of life, than any other car I've ever owned. LOL. She's been wrecked twice, hit by a deer in the side, plowed straight into a huge deer head on, had her headlight knocked out, backed into Mr. Dream Big's house, backed into his concrete flower planter, ran over a huge limb resulting in a flat tire, not to mention two bent rims on the SAME tire. LOL. That poor car has been through it with me as her owner. But we've both managed to survive. She's doing well, but me? Well all I can say is if you want in my will, you'd better hurry up and let me know, cause life's got it in for me. LOL.

Just a little humor tonight as I count my blessings. But you know what they say. "There's truth in every joke."

I posted on Facebook this morning that there was sorrow in the air. I wasn't depressed, just some kind of weird feeling I was getting. Well, that's called intuition and next time I might listen.

I love you all and whisper a prayer for me, if you talk to the man tonight.
