Guns and Mountains!!

Oh my, where do I begin? I had another AMAZING day with my friends!! We went up Double Camp hollow (for those not from WV, that's way up in Hatfield-McCoy country), all the way to the top of the mountain on four wheelers and side by sides. The whole family came. Dionne, Thomas, Kim, Sam, Alexis, Morgan, her husband and "Luke" Bryant. LOL. We had a blast. We watched the sun set and Kim did a photo shoot that was fantastic. These people are a fabulous bunch and I had a great day.

I also did something today that I NEVER dreamed I'd ever do. I shot a gun. I've never even touched a gun in my whole life, much less fired one. They were all doing target practice and asked me if I wanted to. I was nervous at first, but once Sam taught me the ins and outs of it, I was more comfortable. Let me tell you something. When I squeezed that trigger and the bullet left the gun, I felt such an adrenaline rush like I've never felt before (and I've felt some good ones, let me say that, lol). I was hooked after the first shot. There's nothing that feeling!! I am going to get me a gun and start going to target practice. I felt like the boss!! LOL For real. I can't describe it. I have a video that Kim took of me when I shot the first time. I was so nervous but thank God for Sam Harmon who showed me what to do. Look at my face at the end of the video! LOL. It's priceless. Her camera recorded it in slow motion and the look on my face when I turned to say I love it, really looks more evil. LOL. We have laughed so much at that. Also, look at my target. Not too bad for a first time shooter.

I hope you all have had a great day and weekend so far. I know mine has been filled with laughter and friends, great times and great memories that I will carry with me to Los Angeles.
