My Passion

So, I've been writing ALL day long, except for a very quick trip to the store.

I'm working on The Alexanders, and I must say this one is really difficult to write. It starts in 1974 and I was only six at the time, so I don't remember anything about that time period, (except that I had some saddle shoes and a Baby Alive doll that I loved). Anyway, thank God for Google. I am having to research cars, clothes, wages, prices, etc. I can say one thing for sure, cars were super cheap back in those days. A brand new Camaro was only a little over three thousand dollars. Everyone could have a new car back then. But the clothes were SOOO ugly. LOL. For real. Yuck!

I'm finally feeling a good flow to the story and it's going smoothly, so that's a plus. You writers out there, know that's a really good place in which to find yourself. There's nothing more miserable than struggling to write. But it helps knowing the story already and being familiar with my characters. I've found that like my first book, The Letter, this one is playing out like a movie in my mind as well, when I type. Ultimate Betrayal didn't do that. I just typed and it flowed. But with this one, I am watching it in my mind as it plays. I know that sounds wierd, but it's what works for me.

Well, back to writing. No work, no pay.

Remember to work hard and Dream Big!!

Much love,

Christy
