Small Announcement

So I wanted to quickly make a small announcement on here for those of you waitng for the new book "The Alexanders".

That book has been put on hold. I'm not sure how long I'll hold it, but I just know that it's not the right time for it.

I'll explain what I mean. My author friends will understand this and I hope all of you will as well, once I'm finished.

Working on Ultimate Betrayal for over a year and then going straight into Breaking Free for longer than that was daunting to say the least.

Those books are packed with emotional ups and downs, explicit sex, heartbreaks, heartaches, intimate details about the characters and such. So while I'm writing them, I actually live it all out. As a writer, I put EVERYTHING into the storyline. I feel what Emily feels, I hurt like she hurts, I feel the betrayal that Mary felt when her husband left her, I feel the disappointments and heartaches and it's difficult. It's hard when you invest in three characters so wholly that they are on your mind constantly and it's all you think about. Not only to write them day in and day out for almost three years, but then to remain in it by doing the promotions, the sales, the contests, the marketing and now the movie and the script. And it has just drained me emotionally and mentally and I can't handle those three anymore.

So for now, not sure how long, they are going to be stored away inside my laptop in my documents folder, LOL, until I feel I've had sufficient time to recover from writing for them. It won't be forever, but long enough.

I do have good news though. I am ten chapters into The Letter part two and the tentative release date is set for mid October!! So for those of you who have been wanting it for almost three years, it's on it's way!!

I want to thank you for being patient with me while I put it to the side to work on the Ultimate Betrayal series.

It wasn't all bad with the Ultimate series. That was the launching pad for me getting to Los Angeles and opening doors and those characters will always be my favorites, and my babies. I love them, but I just can't deal with them right now. LOL

I'll keep you updated as the book is finished and the editor gets is and I'll let you know the release date the closer it gets. Thank you all for your support of me, no matter what direction I choose to go.

I've also come to realize something else. When you have a group of readers, (I hate the word "fans") you tend to go in the direction they pull you, because you want to satisfy them. Of course, you want to put out what they want. It's the basic concept of supply and demand. They demand it and I'll supply it. It is, after all, how I make my living. But sometimes, you have to take a break and do what you feel is necessary for yourself to bounce back. So here's my break from John, Emily and Mary. They're not gone forever, just for a little while.
