I want to take time out tonight to ask all of you to pray for all of those suffering loss in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. I tried my best last week to keep myself from seeing any coverage of the devastation because honestly, I can't handle the heartache. I heard some and saw some things and I spent my time praying for them. I also want to ask for prayers for those going through the fires in Montana and Burbank. And also, let's remember all of the states and people who are in the path of Hurricane Irma and the one behind it, Jose, I think.
It's all so hurtful. These people are going to need our prayers, support, supplies, and donations to help recover. Let's all come together and do what we can, even if you only have five dollars to give, give it. Along with everyone else's donations, it will all add up.
We are one nation, under God. Let's help each other.
I'm going to include some links below of where and how you can help.
The American Red Cross.
Click on the link and use the website or text 90999 to donate ten dollars. That's not a lot of money at all. Please take time to do it.

The Salvation Army/Houston

Samaritan's Purse

Any of these organizations will get your donations to those affected. Also, check with your local churches and food banks to donate. I know my friend's church in VA is doing a cleaning supply drive and my friend Marina's church in Williamson, WV is doing a dinner to raise money to send. If we all work together, we can accomplish great things.
1 John 3:17 "But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?"
Remember your brothers and sisters in need tonight. They are hurting terribly.
Much love,
Christy
