49 Is Almost 50!!!

So if you guys were expecting a mushy, reflective, thought-filled birthday blog, here you go. LOL

I want to first say how humbled I am that I have SO many friends who took time out of their day to send me wishes. You all touched my heart deeply and actually made me cry.

Thank you to my sweet friend Sue Estepp for taking me out for a birthday lunch at the Mexican restaurant.

I want to thank you my mom's best friend, and my friend, Louise Chaffins for baking me an angel food cake for my special day, it was awesome. I have a feeling that my mom would be so happy knowing that you've stepped in and watch over me. I love you so much.

My son Josh is THE BEST ever!!! Not only did he buy me what I wanted and a card, but he loves me more than I deserve. I thank God for him every day.

I had someone post a wish for me that said they hoped the day was filled with lots of presents. I answered her back and said that, although there were many presents, the best gifts were the birthday wishes from my friends. Those mean more to me than any store bought gift ever could.

Our enemy, the devil, would like for me to think that I have a bunch of haters, but today God allowed me to see the love that's all around me. Almost three hundred wishes on Facebook alone!!

I love you all.

You inspire me, encourage me and uplift me when I'm down. You stood by me when the mean ones tried to drag my name through the mud. You listened to what I had to say when the two devils lied on me last year and tried to make others believe their wicked schemes and outright lies. And you all loved me through the mess and I'm so thankful for that.

But most of all, I'm so thankful that God loves me and His gifts are the best ever!!

So there's my mushy stuff, lol. As for the reflective, deep stuff, well, I can only say that I'm grateful to have woken up another day and was able to say hello to 49!!

It's a weird age that maybe would have been hard for me to accept if I wasn't in a good place in my life. But it's really been a great day full of blessings. So 49 isn't that bad, lol. Ask me on this day next year, when I'm looking at turning "old". LOL
