What's In Your Garden?

I shared this on Facebook and I wanted to share it on here as well. It's very important that live our lives in such a way that we are ensured we only harvest good things when we go to reap.
The other night I had a dream that was odd to me when I first woke up. In my dream, there was a huge field, like the ones you see in aerial shots in Iowa or Nebraska. I had a really big wagon that I was given to take with me out into my field so that I could gather my harvest. I was so happy that harvest time had come because I knew I had worked hard in my garden, planting and tending to the things which I had sown. Each row was "tagged" if you will, with a sign that had the name of the things that had been planted so that I would know what I was getting from my garden. I was busily going about my way of gathering all the fruits of my labor when I noticed something odd. I saw in my garden a crop that I didn't recognize. I looked at it and wondered who had put it there. It wasn't anything that I recognized I had planted. It was some ugly looking crop that didn't belong there. I didn't want to touch it because I knew it was bad and not healthy. I left my wagon sitting and went to look for the owner of the field. That's when I heard a man screaming. I didn't know where he was exactly in the huge field, but I could hear his cries. He was saying, "this is not what I planted, this is not my crop!!" It was the same thing I had said about mine so I decided to try and follow his voice so we could maybe find out what had happened to us. After a few minutes of hearing him wail, I tracked him down between large stalks standing taller than both of us. He was crying and I asked what had happened. He told me there was a mistake, that he'd sown another seed there besides what had come up for harvest. I told him that had happened in my garden as well and that we needed to find out what was going on. The two of us started on our way to find the owner of the field when we heard the cries of more around us. The more we walked, the more voices we heard of people complaining and crying that what they were getting was not what they were expecting when they went to harvest. When we finally found the owner of the field, a big man who had a deep voice, we inquired as to what was happening and why we were finding things in our gardens that weren't supposed to be in there. We all stood as a group waiting for him to explain why we had the ugly and unwanted stuff. The booming voice told us that those are the seeds that were sown and what we saw was the harvest. He said that it is written that we reap whatsoever we sow. If we sow good seeds, we reap good harvests. If we sow bad seeds then our harvest will be the bad stuff that we were seeing in our gardens.
Galatians 6:7 "Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."
We all have sown seeds in our life that we shouldn't sow, seeds that lead to a harvest we don't want after a time. The key to life is learning from past mistakes and bad decisions, turning from that way and living a life in which you will reap good things.
Much love.
